Shaheen conducts extensive tour to remote villages of Neel;

Expresses concern over dilapidated road condition, erratic power supply in far off areas;

Banihal, Dec 04 : National Conference leader and District President,Ramban Sajjad Ahmed Shaheen on Saturday expressed grave concern over erratic power supply in far-off areas of the Banihal Assembly Constituency .
During his extensive visit to Neel area, Shaheen, while interacting with the people, decried the neglect of the present dispensation, saying that the administration was ignoring the suffering of the people living in far flung areas.

Shaheen visited several villages that include Bohardar , Batoo, Harwari, Zarari, Batoo, Gagoni, Barmuji & Fatehwagan situated at the remote corner of Neel and during interaction in these villages the people complained about scarcity of drinking water for several weeks.
Shaheen said the road network is also in a dilapidated condition that has impacted the mobility and added to the miseries of the people.

He particularly referred to the bad shape of the Chamalwas – Neel road, saying no effort is being made to upgrade and repair it.
The District President urged the R&B Department for taking up restoration and upgradation works on immediate bases.
Shaheen also drew the attention of the government towards deficiencies in education and health sectors and sought immediate filling up of vacant posts as also stocking of adequate quantity of medicines in the health institutions.

He said complaints about defunct utility services have also been received from Khari-Trigam-Mahoo, Pogal-Paristan, Sumar, Sarachi, Amkote-Thachi, Hijhal, Nowgam, Bajmasta, Chaka, Sarbagni, Bingara, Kumbla, Phagow, Maligam Chaknarwah and other areas.

Block Presidents Ghulam Rasool Deng, Vice block president Manzoor Ahmed Shiekh, Mohd Amin Madnihali , Zulfikar Ahmed Naik, Mamtaz Ahmed Malik, Bharat Singh Bahar Ahmed Naik, Youth District Secretary Musharaf Ahmed Naik, Halqa President Mohd Mamtaz Malik, Abdul Rehman Padihar also accompanied the District President during his tour.
