Jammu –Srinagar national highway restored after three days closure

Banihal, Mar 14: The 270 Km long Jammu-Srinagar national highway open for traffic movement after three day suspended in multiple landslides in Banihal-Udhampur sector.

Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, the only all-weather road linking Kashmir with the rest of the country, was reopened for vehicular traffic Saturday evening after remaining closed for three days. The highway was closed on Thursday after heavy rains across Banihal, Ramban area and multiple landslides in Banihal-Udhampur sector.
